Make "Howlloween" Fun for You and Your Pets!
If you plan to be out-and-about on Halloween, unless you're attending an event that you know is a safe place for your pets, be sure to leave them at home, safely tucked away from the noise and crowds. You might enjoy all the mayhem, but your pets definitely don't!
Dogs are invited to some, but not all, of the events described below, so be sure to read the listings carefully. If you're not sure whether you should bring your dog or not, contact the event organizer. Bring your pet pooch and join in the family fun! Costume contests include Most Original, Scariest, and Pet/Owner Lookalike. All proceeds will go toward upkeep of the Canine Court dog playground. Registration is $10 for one dog, $5 for each additional dog.

This fun-filled adoption event and block party will feature a five-piece band, games, activities, costume contest, and parade for kids and dogs (including the Maddie's Fund six-foot Miniature Schnauzer mascot), raffles, food, and beverages. Cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies (and maybe some exotic animals) will be available for adoption in the North Shore Animal League America adoption van.
