In honor of National Feral Cat Day on October 16, Alliance spokesperson, Stephanie Mattera, attended the NYC Re-tails & Sales Expo at the historic Hotel Pennsylvania, where she talked to NBC reporter, author, and animal advocate, Jill Rappaport, about her PIES4PAWS Challenge™ campaign and the importance of pet adoption and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for community cats.
Stephanie “put her money where the pie is” and accepted Jill’s challenge to take a pie in the face in exchange for a donation to our NYC Feral Cat Initiative program. Other event attendees also had fun and raised funds for our city’s community cats by taking the challenge
