Architects for Animals: Giving Shelter
For five years between 2010 and 2016, some of New York's most respected architects and designers, through an inventive project called Architects for Animals, helped our city's feral and stray community kitties by creating imaginative winter shelters to provide them with a refuge from the cold. We were delighted to present these collections of unique, inspired winter shelters for public viewing at the Architects for Animals: Giving Shelter exhibit before they were placed in locations throughout the city to provide comfort for the cats. These exhibitions benefitted the New York City Feral Cat Initiative of the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals.
