2015 Progress Report

Our Supporters Make a Difference!

Our progress in 2015 was substantial. The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals continued to sustain its life-saving work and press on toward its goal — to make New York City a community where no healthy or treatable dogs or cats are killed simply because they do not have homes.

Since 2003, the dedicated efforts of the Alliance community partners — 150 rescue groups and shelters, including Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) — have saved the lives of more than 300,000 cats and dogs.

2015 Achievements

9 out of 10 lives saved

More than 61,000 spay/neuter surgeries

Close to 16,000 transfers from ACC

13,200 transports by Wheels of Hope

More than 300,000 lives saved since 2003!

The Alliance could not have achieved this progress without the generous donations of our supporters. We hope that you will stand by the Alliance and help us to sustain our success in saving the lives of NYC's animals.
