NY Cat Film Festival Debuts & NY Dog Film Festival Returns!

NY Dog and Cat Film FestivalsFirst-ever NY Cat Film Festival will be presented on December 9, followed by 3rd Annual NY Dog Film Festival on December 10.

Both the popular NY Dog Film Festival and brand new NY Cat Film Festival grew out of pet wellness advocate Tracie Hotchner’s desire to expand her Radio Pet Lady Network’s outreach to educate the public about adoption, health issues, and philosophical aspects of the pets in our lives.

Presented at the SVA Theatre in Manhattan on December 9 and 10, these two exciting film festivals offer something for every cat and dog lover through a series of artfully curated films featuring dogs, cats, and the humans who love them. Some of the filmmakers are from New York, and some of the films take place in New York City.

The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals is pleased to be the beneficiary of this year’s festivals. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Alliance to support our lifesaving programs.
