We are disappointed to let you know that Laugh For Sight For Dogs, which was scheduled to be on Monday, April 25, at Gotham Comedy Club, has had to be postponed until the fall. We plan to have the new date very soon, and you can expect the rescheduled benefit to be even bigger and better! Laugh For Sight For Dogs - April 25, 2016Join Laugh For Sight and the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals at Gotham Comedy Club on Monday, April 25, 2016, for the inaugural Laugh For Sight For Dogs, an evening of laughs to raise money and awareness about retinal degenerative eye diseases as well as raise money, awareness, and adoption opportunities for some of NYC’s “differently abled” dogs.

Comedians will include Robert Klein, Paul Mecurio, Stacey Prussman, Rich Aronovitch, Laugh For Sight founder Brian Fischler and his dog Nash, and more to be announced. The evening will also feature Celebrity Presenter Danny Aiello and MC Maria Milito from Q104.3.

There will be various opportunities to meet wonderful dogs for adoption who live with a range of challenges, including blindness, deafness, and diabetes. The Alliance’s mobile adoption van will showcase adoptable dogs outside the Gotham Comedy Club during the event, and dogs from various shelters, including the Humane Society of New York, Animal Haven, and Red Hook Dog Rescue, will be presented on the stage.

Come by early for a cocktail reception (cash bar), silent auction, and meet-and-greet with some of the wonderful dogs up for adoption, 7:00–8:30 p.m. in the Vintage Lounge. The comedy show will follow 8:30–10:00 p.m. in the Main Showroom.

This event is hosted by Laugh For Sight, a New York City non-profit organization, whose collective goals are to raise funds and public awareness for retinal degenerative eye diseases. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Alliance.

General admission tickets are $50 with a two-drink minimum, and VIP tickets with reserved seating and an open bar is $150. This is a 18+ show. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
