Close to 600 Shelter Dogs Adopted on NBC 4’s “New York Live”

   

New York Live's "Pet Project"NBC 4 New York’s daily lifestyle show, New York Live, celebrated three years of pet adoptions on Friday, February 22, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. ET, with close to 600 dogs adopted since the segment launched in 2010. New York Live features the weekly segment, “Pet Project,” in partnership with the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, which showcases adoptable dogs and puppies from local animal shelters.

New York Live’s “Pet Project” has seen huge success in adoptions since its start, enabling hundreds of viewers to become new pet owners and experience first-hand how wonderful shelter animals can be. New York Live continues to work hard toward achieving the Mayor’s Alliance’s goal of making New York City a “no-kill” city by 2015.
