Ella
and Francis,
two lovely seniors who are both being treated for arthritis,
paid for by the Picasso Veterinary Fund, are now awaiting
adoption. |

Sweet Sixteen, and Looking for a Home
Picasso Veterinary Fund in Action! (September 2008)
Ella and Francis are two 16-year-old ladies who
lost their home when their guardian was evicted by her landlord.
With no place to go and suffering from arthritis, the duo would
likely have met a sad end were it not for the Picasso
Veterinary Fund. The Fund is paying for Ella and Francis to
receive medication for their arthritis for the rest of their lives
— and a berth at the vet's office until a more permanent home
can be found. A loving foster or permanent home is being sought.
Ella, a torti, is quite mobile, and can jump onto
high surfaces. Francis, a calico whose arthritis is more advanced,
prefers to remain in a quieter mode than Ella. Both ladies have
been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. They enjoy being with
other cats, and simply want to have a real home again where they
can spend their remaining senior years.
