Animal Rescuer Creates Petfinder.com App for iPhone

Animal rescuer and Facebook user Stephanie Legelis has created an application for the iPhone called iPet Finder. The application links to the Petfinder.com database and lets users locate animals for adoption locally or across the country. Search by species, breed, or size, and use the map provided to locate the animal's location and contact the shelter or rescue group directly.

Users also can post animals for adoption to their Facebook page to let people know that they are available. If you're an iPhone user, this is a great way to get the word out to potential adopters!

Learn more about iPet Finder or download the iPet Finder app on iTunes.
