Letter of Appreciation from Claudia the Cat

by Rose Wardell & Claudia

Rose Wardell channeled the semi-feral kitten she rescued with help from the NYCFCI and sent us this letter:

New York, NY

September 16, 2009

Dear Valerie,

I am Claudia, and I am writing to let you know how much I appreciate all you have done for me from day one! I think about you almost every day. I lead a normal life; I can eat and I breathe without effort. I am small and beautiful. My eyes are the color of spring — a vivid green.

I remain feral, you could say, but am no longer so very afraid. I don't walk away when a certain person walks towards me. I can meow, my voice is as soft as a kitten's, and I can purr sometimes.

Thank you, Valerie.

Yours truly,

Claudia
