NYC Eartips: Fall 2008

First-Ever Feral Cat Caretaker Boot Camp!

On Sunday, December 7, 2008, the New York City Feral Cat Initiative will present its first Feral Cat Caretaker Boot Camp!, a day-long workshop for feral cat caretakers, at Animal Haven SoHo. This event is sponsored by the New York City Feral Cat Initiative, Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, PetSmart Charities, In Defense of Animals, and Animal Haven.

Attendees will receive a tote bag filled with a feral cat caretaker resource binder, cat food samples, catnip, cat toys, cat magazines, and other goodies. There will also be a raffle for feral cat colony items, including winter shelters and feeding stations. A delicious vegan lunch from Whole Foods, sponsored by PetSmart Charities, is included.


This workshop is free, but registration is required. To request a reservation, please send an e-mail with your name, city, and state, and "Boot Camp" in the subject line to events@NYCFeralCat.org. A limited number of spots are available due to space restrictions, so only those who are awarded a spot will receive a reply. If you do not receive a reply, it means all spaces have been filled. Reservations are non-transferable. If you need to cancel, you may not give your spot away; we will reassign it to the next person on the list.
