Many Mayor's Alliance Participating Organizations (APOs) offer calendars for sale to raise funds for their organizations' operations. Purchase a calendar (or a few!) from an APO, and you'll not only get a great gift to give friends or family members, but you'll also be contributing to the care of homeless animals.
Great New Books for Kids Young and Old Demo: The Story of a Junkyard Dog Demo: The Story of a Junkyard Dog, by Jon Bozak, with illustrations by Scott Brun, is a wonderful book that will make a great gift for a child or an adult, while spreading a positive message for Pit Bulls everywhere. Making a donation or purchasing a gift item from your favorite animal shelter or rescue group is a great way to give. If you have a favorite shelter or rescue group you like to support, check out its website and see what ideas for gift-giving are available.
