As we begin the countdown to the end of Year One of the Maddie's Pet Rescue Project in NYC, it's an excellent time to look back at our many successes, and ahead to our challenges in 2006. We have much to be grateful for, including the continued faith and support of Maddie's Fund in our efforts to transform New York into a no-kill city, the unyielding efforts of the hundreds of dedicated shelter and rescue people who are working to save lives daily, and our numerous volunteers and supporters, including the ASPCA, who help to make possible our success.
