New York Tails magazine is looking for
the very best New York pets living in the New York metropolitan
area. And it is supporting the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals
in the process.
When you enter your pet (of any variety) in the
Best New York Tail 2005 Contest, you'll get a chance to win fantastic
prizes, including a starring role in a Sherpa print ad for your
pet. And New York Tails will donate your entry fee to The
Mayor's Alliance and Rational Animal. Co-sponsors for the contest
include the ASPCA, Hartz Mountain, Meow Mix, PETCO, Petland Discounts,
Rational Animal, Sherpa, and the Mayor's Alliance.
As Diane West, publisher of New York Tails,
says, "Every time someone who has a pet in a happy home enters
the contest, they are helping another one who is still waiting for
a family to call their own."
Here's how the contest works: Submit a photo and
the $5 entry fee, and, if you'd like, a written description of why
your pet is special, to New York Tails. A semi-finalist
will be selected from each borough — Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan,
Queens, Staten Island, and the neighboring counties of Nassau, Suffolk,
and Westchester. Then a Grand Prize Winner will be declared the
"Best New York Tail 2005," and will receive some great
prizes.
The Spring 2005 issue of New York Tails
magazine is available in stores now! Pick one up and enter the Best
New York Tail 2005 contest. Or visit the New
York Tails web site for more information about how to enter
the contest. Entries must be received by June 18, 2005, so hurry!
