Metropolitan Maltese Rescue (MetroMalts)

Metropolitan Maltese Rescue (MetroMalts) volunteers foster and place Maltese found as strays, surrendered by their owners, or rescued from shelters. They use every means at their disposal to keep Maltese out of shelters and in good forever-after homes. Every foster and permanent home is carefully screened, including a home visit. Information provided by potential adopters is used to make sure that their Maltese are placed with owners who are best suited to their individual personalities. They remain available after adoption to help owners quickly and effectively resolve any concerns or problems that might arise.

Metropolitan Maltese Rescue is a member of the New York Breed Rescue Network of the Mayor's Alliance.
