Grateful Greyhounds rescues, rehabilitates, and places ex-racing Greyhounds into suitable and loving homes. They also educate the public on the current plight of the ex-racing Greyhound and volunteer with their Greyhounds in a pet therapy program to comfort many members of their community. They serve NYC, Long Island, Westchester/Rockland Counties, and some parts on New Jersey. Grateful Greyhounds is a member of the New York Breed Rescue Network of the Mayor's Alliance.
