| Dogue
de Bordeaux Society Rescue
Dogue de Bordeaux Society Rescue exists to place
stray, abandoned, and surrendered Dogue de Bordeaux in homes that
will provide a high level of care. They save and assist over 50
Dogues de Bordeaux and Dogue de Bordeaux mixes every year across
North America. When a Bordeaux is released to the club, it is taken
to a veterinarian for a medical check-up and vaccinations, if not
already done by the shelter. The dog's temperament is evaluated
and they attempt to locate any past history of the dog. All dogs
are neutered or spayed before they are released to their new homes.
The rescue strives to bring together Bordeaux and families in the
same geographical area in order to keep transportation costs to
a minimum, however, they occasionally ship the dogs across the country.
Dogue de Bordeaux Society Rescue is a member
of the New York Breed Rescue
Network of the Mayor's Alliance.
