American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service

The American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service has available for adoption purebred Bullmastiffs who have become homeless and in need of care for a variety of unfortunate reasons. Homeless Bullmastiffs are found in shelters, picked up as strays, surrendered by their owners, or abandoned at vets or kennels. Once admitted into the ABA Rescue Program they are individually placed into foster care where they are evaluated for health and/or temperament issues, rehabilitated, and eventually posted to the web site as "available for adoption." Many of their rescued Bullmastiffs have gone on to become therapy dogs with the Delta Society Therapy Dog Program, obedience dogs working towards an AKC obedience title, or wonderful family companions.

American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service is a member of the New York Breed Rescue Network of the Mayor's Alliance.
